// Terms of service

The deal, written down.

Terms pages are usually where plain English goes to die. Ours gets the same treatment as everything else we write: short clauses, no ambush, and the deal you read here is the deal you get.

PREPARED BY: THE OPERATIVE // REVIEWED BY: [reviewer name withheld]

The short version

  • We quote in writing. You accept in writing. Then we build.
  • The number on the quote is the number — from-figures on the site aren’t quotes.
  • Your stuff stays yours. Our machinery stays ours, licensed while the plan runs.
  • The Sweep: five reclaimable hours a week surfaced, or you don’t pay.

1.0

The engagement

Every job starts with a briefing and ends up as a written, itemised quote. Work begins when you accept that quote in writing — no handshake ambiguity, no “we assumed you wanted”. The prices on this website are from-figures, not quotes; your quote is the number that counts.

2.0

Fees and payment

Most engagements have two parts: a one-off setup fee and a monthly plan. Both appear in your quote, along with when they're invoiced and how. Monthly plans are billed in advance. If a payment fails we'll talk to you like adults before anything else happens.

3.0

What you own

Your brand, your photos, your copy, your customer data, your domain name — yours, before, during and after. You warrant that whatever you hand us to publish (photos, logos, words) is actually yours to use. If we part ways, what's yours leaves with you.

4.0

What stays ours

The machinery underneath — our platforms, templates, automations and systems — stays ours, licensed to you while your plan runs. That's what makes the monthly price possible. Your quote states plainly which parts are portable and which parts aren't, so there's no surprise at the exit.

5.0

Showing the work

We only publish your name, your numbers or your build as a case study with your written sign-off. Until then you sit behind a black bar like everyone else — see the Success Stories page for exactly what that looks like.

6.0

The Sweep guarantee

The Sweep carries its own promise: we'll surface at least five hours a week of reclaimable time, or you don't pay. “Surface” means named in your written report with the tools to reclaim them costed. If the report can't get there, the invoice doesn't exist — you just tell us within seven days of receiving it.

7.0

The law that outranks this page

You may have rights under the Australian Consumer Law that no contract can switch off, and nothing on this page tries to. Where the law allows us to limit liability, it's limited to re-supplying the service or the cost of re-supplying it.

8.0

Ending it

Notice periods and exit steps live in your quote, not in fine print here. Two things hold either way: we don't hold your domain hostage, and we hand over what's yours without being chased for it. Exits should be boring.

9.0

The boring bits

These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia. If we update them, the revision number at the top changes — no silent edits. Questions: hello@redacteddigital.au.
